Paris Fashion Week: Wednesday 5th October

Boohoo! Yesterday was the last day of fashion week until February and there were three designers ready to embrace us with the last collections of the week.

Trust Marc Jacobs to put on a brilliant show for Louis Vuitton. I don't know how the man does it, he's a complete genius. He set up the show as a fashion fair ground with very sophisticated doll like models. I say doll like because they seemed styled up as modern versions of a dolls house character you would have when you were younger. It was all very quaint. Again, I love the antique looking lace and broidery. There was a lot of this on collared shirts, jackets and dresses. Of course, Kate Moss at the end made the whole show.

Miuccia Prada designed and produced the Miu Miu collection in just 13 days this year. For the time it took, this collection was very well tailored and elegant. In terms of design, it wasn't my favourite but it had this
stylish simplicity about it that made certain pieces must haves for the SS12 season and lust haves !

And Finally, the Elie Saab collection. The collection incorporated a lot of sequins, seventies silhouettes, lace seams and slits. This was the most eveningwear focused collection of the day. It was named 'Colour Shock' due to its dramatic changes in colour schemes which surprisingly worked quite well. As always it was full on glamour and expensive taste.

Its weird now because after four weeks of fashion week blogging I'm finally going to have to come back down to the real world and start with some new posts. Let me get thinking and get back to you when I find something to blow your minds !
