Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry

Now I'm never usually a fan of celebrity designed collections, mainly because you know they've had nothing to do with the design process and have just slapped their name on it for a bit of publicity. However, I am surprised to say that I am actually quite impressed with the Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry range.

I think with the range you can really tell that her input was valued. She has this whole vintage pin up style going on and you can really see that translated into the collection as wearable pieces. Fred Perry is also a company that you think about for their casual polo tops and jumpers and with Amys collection, its been given a more feminine and fashion forward edge also.

This dress is also one of my favourite pieces in the collection and I would actually want to buy this to wear on a night out. Think its been reduced now so it is more in my price range too :p

I think celebrities could really do with taking notice of this collection as it shows how to really express their own personality into a commercial, stylish range.
